    For over forty years Homeless Emergency Project has provided homeless people, homeless children, and low-income individuals and families with
    housing, food, clothing, and support services necessary to obtain self-sufficiency and improved quality of life. HEP is dedicated year round to
    " helping people help themselves."
  • Shepherd Center of Tarpon Springs
    The Shepherd Center provides free, hot meals, groceries, hygiene supplements, personal case management and planning for success with education
    and employment opportunities. The Shepherd Center was started in 1974 by a few volunteers who decided to provide food, clothing and compassion
    for the needy in their area. Today it has grown into the largest service of its kind north of Clearwater!

    families facing a pregnancy related crisis.

    Temple Ahavat Shalom is an inclusive Reform Jewish Community filled with warmth, joy and purpose. Our Temple is a second home for our members,
    a place where people of all ages can relate comfortably with one another in an atmosphere of sensitivity and caring.
  • Road to Recovery - CPL Michael Nicholson
    CPL Michael Nicholson, 22 yrs. old, a Tampa US Marine who was severely injured in Afghanistan recently. He lost THREE LIMBS serving our Country.
    Our Marine graduated from Plant High in 2007. The "Michael Nicholson Road to Recovery Fund", "Not for profit" 501c3 and tax deductible. 100% of the
    donations will go toward Nicholson's care, specifically on items not covered by the Veterans Administration. The Fund is set up at the Bank of Tampa.
  • Saddle Up Riding Club
    Saddle Up Riding Club is an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults both able bodied and disabled through equine
    therapy and direct interaction with horses.
  • Operation HeartF.E.L.T (Feeding Empty Little Tummies)
    We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide nutritious meals to students and their siblings on weekends, holidays and extended school break periods.  We believe that every child deserves the advantage good nutrition provides to physical, emotional and intellectual development.
  • Pack-A-Sack-4-Kids (Pinellas and Pasco Counties)
    “Pack-A-Sack 4 Kids” is a community outreach program of United Methodist Cooperative Ministries/Suncoast, Inc., local school boards in Pinellas, Manatee, and Pasco Counties, and area churches and collaborative partners.  The program is designed to help address the problem of chronic hunger among elementary age children in our public schools.  This has been estimated to be approximately 10-15% of all children eligible for free or reduced meals at school.
  • T.A.M.P.A (Tampa Area Marine Parents Association)
    One of the main things our support group can do for you is offer you the chance to get to know, personally, other Marine family and friends.  We all seem to share the same feeling that you just need to be able to talk to someone who knows exactly what we are all going through or have been through.  Get involved!
  • Operation Helping Hand
    Operation Helping Hand of Tampa (Op HH) , a project of the Tampa Chapter of Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), has been organized to help the families of the wounded and injured during their stay in Tampa Bay. Assistance from the public and business community is definitely needed to help these families.
  • Pinellas Opportunity Council, Inc
    Pinellas Opportunity Council, Inc. (POC) is the private non-profit Community Action Agency which has been serving the people of Pinellas County, Florida since 1968.  We mobilize federal, state, local and private resources to develop programs that deliver services to help individuals and families alleviate conditions of poverty, enable people to move towards economic self-sufficiency, provide opportunities for people to reach their full potential, and revitalize communities.
